Know How Much Tax Will Be Levied On Which Vehicle
Till now, a 7 per cent tax was levied on four-wheeler non-AC vehicles worth less than 10 lakhs. Now it will be 8 percent. Similarly, the tax on AC cars worth less than 10 lakhs will increase from 8 per cent to 9 per cent. On the other hand, vehicles worth more than 10 lakhs will now be taxed at 11 percent instead of 10.
Increase In Tax Will Generate Revenue Of Rs 412 Crore
On the other hand, this tax on two-wheelers worth less than 40 thousand rupees will be 7 percent as before. But now, a 9 per cent tax will be levied on vehicles worth more than 40 thousand rupees instead of 8 per cent. The government was incurring a loss of up to Rs 1000 crore due to giving several concessions on electric vehicles. Increasing the tax will generate an income of Rs 412 crore. At the same time, the transport tax on taxi (four-wheeler) vehicles has been reduced.
13 Proposals Approved
The Yogi government approved 13 proposals on Tuesday. The daily duty allowance of Provincial Guard Force (PRD) personnel has been increased by about 26 percent, from Rs 395 to Rs 500. This decision was made during the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 35 thousand PRD volunteers in the state will benefit from this increase.
Will The Government’s Expenditure Increase?
Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that the allowance of PRD jawans has been increased from Rs 395 to Rs 500. More than 34 thousand PRD jawans are deployed in the state, and all these jawans will benefit from this increased amount. Khanna said that this increase will result in additional expenditure of Rs 75 crore 87 lakh 50 thousand on the state government.
