In Bihar, a campaign will be run to make Ayushman cards in every state district starting November 20 and running until December 10. These cards will be made for all senior citizens 70 years or above and beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya (AB-PMJAY) and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (MM-JAY). Instructions have been issued from Bihar Health Security Committee Patna regarding this.
Preparations have been completed for the particular campaign to make Ayushman cards in the Jehanabad district. The Additional Collector will be the senior nodal officer at the district level for issuing Ayushman cards. Senior officers of all blocks have been nominated as nodal officers of their respective blocks. The sub-divisional officer at the sub-divisional level and the block development officer at the block level have been nominated as nodal officers, and issuing Ayushman cards will be monitored at the block level.

A target has also been set for this special campaign in the Jehanabad district. A camp will be set up to make the card. Camps will be set up at all the public distribution shops in the district. Apart from this, Ayushman cards will be made in the Panchayat Government Building, Block Office, and Community Building. Not only this but Ayushman cards will be made by Asha workers/Asha facilitators Jeevika Didi and Vikas Mitra in Mahadalit Tola by going door-to-door. The Sub-Divisional Officer will issue Ayushman cards by organizing an Ayushman camp at the public distribution shop.
Jeevika Didi Will Do Door To Door Campaign
The Block Supply Officer will monitor it, and the dealers will set the block-wise responsibility at their level. All the Public Distribution System vendors have to do extensive publicity. Under the special campaign by Asha workers, which is a door-to-door campaign, cooperation will be obtained to bring the beneficiaries to the camp by making them aware of making Ayushman cards for the beneficiaries. Anganwadi workers and assistants will also assist the beneficiaries in reaching the camp and making Ayushman cards.
Jeevika Didi was also instructed to ensure that all the beneficiaries are brought to the camp in the special campaign and that Ayushman cards are issued. The District Officer has appealed to all the public representatives of Jehanabad district to get all the eligible beneficiaries to the camp by informing them about this campaign and helping them issue their cards.
