Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan this year. In such a situation, all the parties are trying hard for power. Meanwhile, Chief Minister of the state Ashok Gehlot has made a big announcement. While relieving the people of Rajasthan, CM Gehlot has given relief in electricity bills. The CM has announced that electricity consumers will get free electricity up to the first 100 units.
CM Gehlot said that after observing inflation relief camps and talking to the public, there was feedback that there should be some change in the slab-wise exemption in electricity bills. The people also received feedback regarding the fuel surcharge on electricity bills in May, based on which a big decision has been taken.
Electricity Free Up To First 100 Units
CM Gehlot has announced that the electricity bill of those consuming electricity up to 100 units per month will be zero. They will not have to pay any bills in advance. The first 100 units of electricity will be free to families who consume more than 100 units per month; no matter how much the bill comes, they will not have to pay any electricity charges for the first 100 units.
