Celebrity Taxpayers In 2024: Bollywood’s King Khan Shah Rukh Khan is among the top celebrity taxpayers in Bollywood and sports. Shah Rukh Khan paid Rs 92 crore as income tax in 2023-24.
Tamil actor Vijay is in second place, having paid Rs 80 crore in income tax during the last financial year. Cricketer Virat Kohli is in first place in paying income tax among sportspersons, who have paid Rs 66 crore as income tax, while former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in second place with Rs 38 crore.
Bollywood’s Celebrity Taxpayers
Fortune India has released the list of celebrity taxpayers for the financial year 2023-24. According to this list, Shah Rukh Khan has paid Rs 92 crore as income tax. Actor Vijay is in second place with a tax payment of Rs 80 crore, and Salman Khan is in third place with a tax payment of Rs 75 crore. Big B, i.e. Amitabh Bachchan, has paid Rs 71 crore as income tax in 2023-24. Ajay Devgn has paid Rs 42 crore, and Ranbir Kapoor has paid Rs 36 crore as income tax.
Hrithik Roshan has paid Rs 28 crore, Kapil Sharma has paid Rs 26 crore, Kareena Kapoor has paid Rs 20 crore, Shahid Kapoor has paid Rs 14 crore, Kiara Advani has paid Rs 12 crore and Katrina Kaif has paid Rs 11 crore as tax. Pankaj Tripathi is also included in this list. He has paid Rs 11 crore as income tax. Aamir Khan has paid Rs 11 crore, Malayalam film actor Mohanlal has paid Rs 14 crore, and Allu Arjun has paid Rs 14 crore as income tax. Cricketers are also among celebrity taxpayers.

Mahi, i.e. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has paid Rs 38 crore as income tax. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar paid Rs 28 crore as income tax in 2023-24. All-rounder Hardik Pandya has paid Rs 13 crore, and Rishabh Pant has paid Rs 10 crore as income tax.
