Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s recent social media post has surprised his fans and followers. The director has announced that from now on, he will charge fees to anyone who eats his brain. In an Instagram post, Anurag wrote that he has “wasted a lot of time trying to help newbies.”
Anurag has shared a note on Instagram regarding taking fees from people who meet him to enter the film industry. His note reads: “I wasted a lot of time trying to help newbies and ended up with mostly mediocre crap. So, from now on, I don’t want to waste my time meeting new people who think they are creative. So now I will have meeting rates. If someone wants to meet me for 15 minutes, I will charge Rs 1 lakh, for half an hour Rs 2 lakh and 1 hour Rs 5 lakh. This is the rate. I’m tired of wasting time meeting people. Call me or stay away if you think you can afford this.”

After this, he has not announced any new projects. However, he was seen showcasing his acting skills opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Haddi. Debutant director Akshat Ajay Sharma, previously Anurag’s assistant director, directed the film.
