People across the country are facing problems with UPI transactions. According to the information, UPI users’ payments through apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, and Paytm failed, which has persisted for a long time.
Although payments have started in some banks, this problem persists in others. According to the information, various banks, including SBI, HDFC, Bank of Baroda, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Bank of Maharashtra, face problems in UPI transactions. In such a situation, please carry cash. Many users have lodged their complaints regarding this on social media platforms.
Why Did This Problem Arise?
According to the information, there are problems with the banks’ servers. The servers of many banks are also down. Its reports have been found on a website named DownDetector. Users have reported this. However, banks and NPCI have not agreed to this issue. Reports suggest that UPI is going through an outage. However, no official statement has been issued yet on its reason.
What Message Is Coming?
Many users get the message that the bank’s server is down on the app while doing UPI transactions. At the same time, some say that the payment failed. Let us tell you that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has banned Paytm Payments Bank. This ban will apply to its services after February 29.

NPCI wrote- Sorry for the inconvenience on UPI connectivity. There are internal technical issues in some banks. However, NPCI systems are working correctly. We are working with these banks for prompt resolution. HDFC Bank has reacted to this issue. HDFC said we faced difficulties on UPI due to some multi-bank system prob UPI. We are back to our operations now. We apologize for any inconvenience.

250 Million Users Of UPI
According to the information, there are more than 250 million users of Unified Payment Interfaces, i.e. UPI, in India. This number is increasing year after year. In October last year, more than 1000 crore UPI transactions were made. More than 60 per cent of retail transactions in India are done through UPI. About 350 banks accept payments through UPI.
