According to ET’s report, Ganguly invested this time in food delivery startup JustMyRoots. The company is engaged in the business of intercity food delivery. The company works in food delivery in 30 cities. And it is targeting to raise Rs 120-150 crore for its business expansion.
According to the report on investing in startups, Ganguly says that in today’s era, most people prefer home delivery instead of going to restaurants. Ganguly has invested in around four startups. He said that he had recently earned well from a startup.
This Is The Planning Of The Company
According to the report, the company’s revenue in the year 2022-23 was around Rs 208 crore. And it plans to earn around Rs 350 crore in the current financial year. Presently the company is a significant player in Intercity Food Delivery—He is also preparing to launch the model in the form of delivery inside the city. The company will start its services in Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Mumbai by Diwali this year.
