Isha Ambani Handed New Business Responsibility, Mukesh Ambani Shows Trust In Daughter

Reliance Separating This Unit

According to a report by news agency PTI, India’s largest listed company Reliance Industries has announced to separate its financial services unit from itself. This process of demerger has been started. After this, Reliance Industries will list its financial services unit in the stock markets as a new company. Now that unit of Reliance was known as Reliance Strategic Investments Limited, i.e. RSIL.

Reliance’s New Company In The Market

PTI has said that now the identity of the financial services unit of Reliance Industries will be changed to Jio Financial Services Limited, i.e. JFSL. Reliance Industries has fixed July 1 as the record date for the demerger. This means the investors who will have shares of Reliance Industries, as per the July 1 records, will be allotted shares of the new company. The date of July 20 has been fixed for allocating these shares.

The Task Given To Isha

Isha Ambani has the latest responsibility in the new JFSL company after being separated from Reliance Industries Limited. According to PTI, she has been placed on its board as a director. Reliance Industries has also included former Comptroller and Auditor General, i.e. CAG Rajiv Mehrishi, in the panel. Isha Mukesh Ambani has been appointed as a non-executive director.

These People Got The Responsibility

According to PTI, Reliance executive Anshuman Thakur has also been made non-executive director. And Rajiv Mehrishi has been appointed as an independent director for five years. Indian Banks Association chief executive Sunil Mehta and chartered accountant Bimal Manu Tanna, who worked with PwC, have also been appointed independent directors. Banker Hitesh Kumar Sethia has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of RSIL for three years.
