Mukesh Ambani 5G Plan: Reliance Jioinfocom, the country’s number one telecom company, is preparing to explode in 5G. For this, the company is preparing to enter into an important agreement with Nokia. It will be able to set up the necessary infrastructure for rapid 5G services in India. The company has already entered into a $2.1 billion agreement with Sweden’s leading company Ericsson. Reliance plans to set up a 5G broadband service network nationwide by the end of this year.
There Will Be An Agreement Of About 14 Thousand Crores
According to the report of Economics Times, the company will make an agreement of about $1.7 billion (Rs 13980 crore) with the Finnish company Nokia. In this, Reliance will buy 5G network equipment from Nokia. However, Reliance has not responded to ET’s query on this deal. Before this, the company had signed a $2.1 billion deal with Ericsson for 5G equipment.
Nationwide Coverage By The End Of This Year
Jio has been rapidly expanding 5G coverage since last October and is targeting to launch it across India by the end of 2023. The company has found 5G services in over 6,000 cities and towns.
