Jobs in India: While presenting this year’s budget (Union Budget 2024), Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also announced the launch of the Internship Scheme in the country. The youth are very curious about this.
Now information is coming out that this scheme will start this month. Many companies will start it on Thursday. They will start putting the list of their needs on the portal. However, this portal for the youth will begin on October 12. The central government claims this internship scheme will benefit about one crore youth. They will get experience working in the top 500 companies in the country, which will be useful for them in the future.
CII and the Corporate Affairs Ministry Are Working Together
According to a report by Business Today, companies across the country are excited about this scheme. To ensure its success, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) collaborates with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. According to the report, companies will be included in this scheme based on their three years of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) expenditure. It is being brought under the PM Skill and Employment Development Package.
These Youth Will Get A Chance, Those Doing Professional Courses Will Be Out
Youths between 21 and 24 who have passed 10th grade can participate in this scheme. However, they should not be in any job. Students doing IIT, IIM, IISER, CA, or any other professional course will also be unable to participate. The internship scheme will also not include youth from families doing government jobs whose family income is more than Rs 8 lakh.
You Will Have To Apply On The Portal. From there, The Youth Will Be Selected For 12 Months.
To apply for the internship scheme, you must go to the portal and create your profile. Also, e-KYC will require an Aadhar card. Along with this, a declaration form and your qualifications must also be given. After this, twice the number of candidates will be selected for each post by the portal. After this, companies will select the right people among them and send them offer letters. 50 percent of the training will be useful in this. After 12 months of internship, your certificate will be uploaded to the portal.
