According to estimates, if the railways run 3000 additional trains daily, it can eliminate the problem of waiting for tickets. This target can be achieved by 2032. Currently, Indian Railways runs 22000 trains daily.

In 2024, the railways have laid 14.5 km of track daily. In the year 2014, this figure was 4 km per day. Ashwini Vaishnav has said that his goal is to strengthen the railway infrastructure. In the last 10 years, we have laid 35 thousand km of new track.

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Is Ready, Trial Will Start Soon

According to Ashwini Vaishnav, Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains will start running in 60 days. Railways has prepared 2 such trains. They will have to undergo a testing process for 6 months. He said that 310 km of track for the Bullet Train has also been prepared. Further work is also going on at a fast pace. Apart from this, Indian Railways is also working on passenger safety. Also, preparations have been made to run new trains on busy routes.
