He claimed that with the help of an air taxi service, the journey from Connaught Place in Delhi to Gurugram could be completed in just 7 minutes. The fare for this can also start from Rs 2000.

Archer Aviation is going to supply the aircraft for air taxi service. Soon, this air taxi will also begin to be manufactured in India. Chennai startup ePlane is preparing to launch the prototype of a flying electric taxi by March next year.

Can Also Be Used As Air Ambulance

This startup, ePlan, is located in Chennai. It has support from IIT Madras. The company is preparing to develop a prototype of an electric air taxi by March next year. The purpose of ePlan is to reduce urban congestion. According to the company’s founder and CEO, Satya Chakraborty, the company is developing EVtoll (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) aircraft. This aircraft will be capable of lifting weight to 206 kg. 3 to 4 passengers will be able to travel in it. It can also be used as an air ambulance.

Prototype Will Be Developed By March

Satya Chakraborty, CEO of ePlane Company, said we hope the prototype will be developed by next year. After this, we will try to obtain a license from DGCA. According to the startup’s website, the 60-minute journey can be completed by e-plane in just 14 minutes. The company will also launch many of its drones in the coming months. This drone will be able to carry a weight of 2 to 50 kg and travel a distance of 40 to 60 km.

Archer Aviation Is Going To Deliver 200 E-Tool Planes

Archer Aviation’s planes from Delhi to Gurugram can fly 150 to 160 km. The company will supply about 200 planes for this project. It will cover the 90-minute distance between the two cities in just 7 minutes. This plane has been designed to fly back to back so that the maximum distance can be covered quickly.
