September 4, 2024 – Banks will remain closed in Guwahati on the disappearance date of Srimanta Sankardev.
September 7, 2024 – Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Panaji due to Ganesh Chaturthi.
September 8, 2024 – Banks will remain closed nationwide due to Sunday.
September 14, 2024 – Banks will remain closed nationwide due to the second Saturday.
September 15-2024 – Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.
September 16, 2024 – On the occasion of Barawafaat, banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ranchi, Srinagar and Trivandrum.
September 17, 2024 – Banks will remain closed in Gangtok and Raipur due to Milad-un-Nabi.
September 18, 2024 – Banks will remain closed in Gangtok due to Pang-Lhabsol.
September 20, 2024 – Banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
September 21, 2024 – Banks will remain closed in Kochi and Trivandrum on Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Divas.
September 22, 2024 – Banks will remain closed nationwide due to Sunday.
September 23, 2024—Banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed on Maharaja Hari Singh’s birthday.
September 28, 2024 – Banks will remain closed across the country on account of the fourth Saturday.
September 29, 2024 – Banks will remain closed across the country on account of Sunday.

Out of 30 days in September, banks in different states will remain closed for 15 days. You can complete many tasks even after the bank is closed every other day. You can use an ATM for cash transactions. At the same time, you can use net or mobile banking to transfer money from one account to another.
