Bajaj Auto launched the world’s first CNG bike, Freedom 125. Bookings for this new CNG bike have started, and delivery is expected to begin next month.
The company hopes to sell about 20,000 units of this bike. It is estimated that by January 2025, this figure will cross 40,000. Seeing the great response to this bike, Bajaj has started preparing its next CNG bike.
In a recent interview, Bajaj Auto Chairman Rajiv Bajaj said the company is preparing to launch its next CNG bike soon. According to reports, this bike will be available at a price lower than Freedom 125 and can be equipped with a 100cc engine.
This bike is expected to give more mileage at a lower price. Due to rising petrol prices, people are turning to vehicles running on alternative fuels. In such a situation, people can buy this cheap CNG bike from Bajaj.
Bajaj is also said to be considering launching a cheaper model of its Chetak electric scooter. Given the increasing demand for electric scooters, Bajaj is considering launching a new bike.
