The new design, colour and features of Tata Group-owned Air India Express have been revealed. Now, the airline will be seen in a new style. The new colours of Air India Express include turquoise and orange. Air India Express is currently in the process of merging AIX Connect with itself.
This new design has been launched at Mumbai Airport. Less than two months after Air India unveiled its new brand identity, its structure and colours have been revealed. According to PTI, Air India Express said the airline’s new design features a premium colour palette of Orange and Express Turquoise, including Express Tangerine and Express Ice Blue.
According to the airline, the new design inspired the livery of the first new Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The upcoming aircraft will have designs inspired by other traditional patterns, including Ajrakh, Patola, Kanjeevaram, Kalamkari, etc., which will showcase the artistic diversity of India. The airline’s Pattern of India theme reflects the spirit of the nation and reflects its story.
Alok Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, said the re-branding marks a new phase in its ambitious growth and transformation journey, starting with the induction of modern fuel-efficient Boeing B737-8 aircraft.
It is noteworthy that preparations will include 50 aircraft in the fleet in the next 15 months. Alok Singh said that during the next five years, we aim to develop a fleet of about 170 narrow-body aircraft with a network spanning domestic India and short-haul international markets.
Air India Chairman and Managing Director Campbell Wilson said the merger of Air India Express and AirAsia India is in the final stages. In such a situation, the airline has made major changes in design and pattern.
