It has been told in the news of ET that Adani Group and American digital payment gateway company Visa have entered into a new deal to issue co-branded cards. Both have signed respective deals. These cards can offer customers benefits from retail to airport and online travel. In this way, the co-branded cards of Adani and Visa can attract 40 crore country customers.
Visa CEO Gave Information
Visa’s CEO Ryan McInerney gave information about this in a conference call with the analyst. He said a deal had been done with the Adani group to offer co-branded credit cards. With this partnership, Visa can access 400 million customers from Adani’s airport and online travel services.
Adani Now Has 7 Airports
Adani Group currently operates 7 airports in India. Adani Group can also add more airports to its network in the coming time. The seven airports of the Adani group handle most of India’s air traffic. Domestic passenger traffic at these seven airports has increased by 92 per cent and international passenger traffic by 133 per cent.

Regarding travel-focused co-branded credit cards, few such products are in the market. At present, in this case, ICICI Bank and Make My Trip, SBI and Yatra and Axis Bank and Vistara are jointly offering travel credit cards.
