According to a regulatory filing, Adani Group has planned to start its work in China through supply chain solutions and project management. Adani Enterprises said in the filing that Adani Global Pte, a Singapore-based step-down subsidiary, established Adani Energy Resources Shanghai on September 2, 2024. Adani Global Pte will wholly own the Shanghai-based company. Adani Group has not yet explained why this company has been opened.
The Company Will Try Hard To Get Big Contracts
Adani Enterprises includes Adani Group’s mining, road, airport, data centre and water infrastructure business. The filing states that Adani Energy Resources Shanghai was registered on September 2, 2024, under the Company Law of the People’s Republic of China. This company has not yet started its business there. But, it is believed that Adani Enterprises will try hard to get big contracts there soon.
Subsidiary Was Also Registered In Kenya For Nairobi Airport
Recently, Adani Enterprises also registered a subsidiary, Airports Infrastructure PLC, in Kenya. The company, which manages 7 airports in India, is now expanding its presence abroad. To get investment in this sector, a company named Global Airports Operator LLC was recently formed in Abu Dhabi. According to the information, Adani Group had submitted a proposal to the Kenyan government to invest in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This could become the first airport of the Adani Group outside the country.
