As a variation on the new Exclusive Edition of the Volkswagen Tiguan, its Pure White and Oryx White colours attract the most attention and make it stand out from other cars. Also, ‘Exclusive Edition’ badging is visible on its boot lid. Volkswagen has priced the special edition of its Tiguan at Rs 33.49 lakh.
How Is The Look And Features?
Regarding the look of this SUV, 18-inch Sebring Sterling Silver alloy wheels, dynamic hubcaps, LED matrix headlamps, and aluminium pedals have been given in it. Also, it gets many new features, including 6-airbags, a panoramic sunroof, a driver alert system, ambient lighting, a hill start assist, and three-zone climate control.
How Is The Engine?
The powertrain of this car has been kept the same as before: a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine can generate a maximum power of 187 bhp and maximum torque of 320 Nm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Also, the company’s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system has been retained in it.
Price hiked As of now, the current facelift model of this SUV is priced at Rs 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). At the same time, the ex-showroom price of this special exclusive edition has been kept at Rs 33.49 lakh.
Who Will Compete With?
In the Indian market, this car competes with Citroën’s recently launched C5 Aircross. The facelifted Citroen C5 Aircross gets a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, generating 174bhp power and 400 Nm torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 36.67 lakh.
