Maruti Fronx Becomes Tax-Free
Maruti Suzuki has made Fronx tax-free to boost its sales. This car will now be available for sale at CSD (Canteen Stores Department). Indian soldiers must pay only 14% tax instead of 28% GST at CSD stores, so the price is less. The showroom price of the Sigma variant of Fronx is Rs 7,51,500, but the same variant will be available at CSD at Rs 6,51,665. You can save up to Rs 1.60 lakh on its other variants. It has a 1.2L petrol hybrid engine.
Maruti Baleno Becomes Tax-Free
Maruti Suzuki has also made its premium hatchback car Baleno tax-free. Regarding the price, the Delta CNG 1.2L 5MT variant of Baleno is Rs 8.40 lakh, but the ex-showroom price of the same variant at the CSD store is Rs 7,24,942. By being tax-free, you save up to Rs 1,15,580. On the other hand, the CSD ex-showroom price of the Baleno Zeta CNG 1.2L 5MT variant is Rs 9.20 lakh. This car has 1.2L and 1.0L litre petrol engines. Maruti WagonR CNG Becomes Tax-Free
Maruti Suzuki has made Wagon-R CNG tax free. WagonR can also be purchased from the Canteen Stores Department, i.e. CSD, across the country. Once again, let us tell you that the Indian soldiers have to pay only 14% tax on this car at the canteen instead of 28% on CSD. After being tax-free, the car has become cheaper by Rs 98000. If any of your relatives or brothers are in the army, you can take advantage of this deal, but the car will not be in your name. But you can get the benefit of the discount. Maruti Brezza Becomes Tax-Free
Maruti Brezza has also been included in the tax-free list. While the price of Brezza for common customers is Rs 8.34 lakh, its price on CSD is Rs 751,434. That means a tax saving of Rs 82,566 is being made on this. On other variants of Brezza, up to Rs 2,66,369 can be saved in tax. Brezza has a 1.5L petrol engine that comes with mild hybrid technology.
