Maruti’s Upcoming Hybrid Cars

HEV Technology Will Be Used

The gasoline engine will help increase range but not directly propel the vehicle. Instead, it generates electricity to power an electric motor, which sends power to the wheels. The e-motor draws juice from the battery pack or generator, which is the engine. The system is similar to the e-Power technology found in global Nissan cars.
