Talking about the engine of this upcoming SUV, the company can offer only a 3-door variant engine in it. The company has launched Thar 2WD in the market with two engine options: the first 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre petrol engine. If we talk about the price of a 5-door Mahindra Thar SUV, the company is believed to launch it at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 15 lakh.
