New Flying Bike Can Go Up To 100km On A Single Charge and Is Surprisingly Affordable

The world of flying vehicles looks fascinating, just like a science-fiction movie. One such unique model is the Lazareth Moto Volante LMV 496 flying motorcycle, showcased on the Geneva International Motor Show opening day in Doha, Qatar. Range Of About 100 Kilometers

Only 5 units have been produced by Ludovic Lazareth of France. These flying motorcycles use jet-powered machines. It is an updated variant of the LM-84, which gets an engine of approximately 470 horsepower. The new product uses an electric powertrain instead of the petrol unit, which offers a range of about 100 kilometres.

Above Ground For 10 Minutes

There is a kerosene fuel tank inside the body of this flying motorcycle, due to which LMV 496 can hover above the ground for 10 minutes. This model can fly up to 3.3 feet above the ground, while future technology can increase this difference. Two additional turbines on either side of the chassis help handle more weight or provide more thrust.

Price Around 5 Lakh Dollars

During the flight, the dashboard of Moto Volante displays essential details like flight information, speed, situation, height, etc. Joysticks on either side of the handlebar control flight. Each motorcycle costs approximately half a million dollars, and four are available to order. Every bike gets a unique serial number for identification.
