Harley Davidson X440 Bookings: Harley-Davidson has started booking its much-awaited motorcycle made in association with Hero MotoCorp. The company recently unveiled its first made-in-India bike, the Harley Davidson X440. The bike can be booked through the company’s official dealership, for which a booking amount of Rs 25,000 will have to be deposited. This will be the cheapest bike Harley offers in the Indian market and will be officially launched on July 3.
According to the information received from the dealership source, its price will be revealed only after the launch of this bike on July 3. There is a possibility that the company will launch it for sale between Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. Its delivery can start from September this year, although more information about it will be given only at the time of the bike’s launch.
How Is Harley Davidson X440
This is the first Harley-Davidson bike that is entirely made in India. Apart from this, it is the first model prepared in partnership with Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp. Talking about the ergonomics, it is offered without any forward-set footpegs or swept-back handlebar, which you see on a cruiser. Instead, the company has given mid-set footpegs and a flat handlebar in this bike. But the look of this bike is quite sporty.

Harley-Davidson has done the styling work of the bike, while Hero MotoCorp is doing the engineering, testing and overall development. Visually, it looks like a stylish bike where Harley’s DNA will be seen. Looking at the pictures released, it is known that the company has used Day-time-Running (DRL) lights in this bike, on which ‘Harley-Davidson’ is written.
