American car manufacturer Ford may make a comeback in India. According to media reports, Ford India has applied for a patent here in the name of Endeavour. It is estimated that the company will sell its cars in India again in the year 2025. Recently, a flurry of officials has been seen at the company’s Chennai plant. In the year 2021, the company had closed its plants in India. At present, the company has not shared more information about this.
Sold In The Name Of Ford Everest SUV
The car design Endeavour, for which the company has applied for a patent, is currently sold in the Thai market under the Ford Everest SUV. The new Endeavor will be available in India by 2025, which will be assembled at the Chennai plant and can also be imported from outside. It will have a six-speed and 10-speed transmission. The 360-degree camera will be available in the car. This car will come with nine airbags, not just one or two.
Turbo Engine Option Will Be Available
According to the information, all advanced safety features will be available in the new Ford Endeavour. Its name can be officially revealed by the end of this year. The car will get an advanced driver assistance system and touchscreen infotainment system. The car will get a 2.0-litre diesel engine. This SUV car will also have the option of a 3-litre engine and turbo engine. This big car will have advanced features like cruise control, intersection assist and hands-free parking. This car will compete with vehicles like Toyota Fortuner in the market.
Matrix LED Headlight and C Shape DRL
The new Ford Endeavour will look more muscular and boxy than before. All LED lights will be available in it. The SUV will get Matrix LED headlights and a C-shaped DRL. This SUV will have a shape LED taillight and a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster. This powerful car will be available with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.
