Ather Energy, the country’s well-known EV bike maker, has announced to set up 1,000 charging stations. Giving information, the Bengaluru-based company has said that the company is going to build 1,000 charging stations in the country. While providing further information, the company said that by the end of this year, a target had been set to build more than 2500 charging stations in the country.
The company official said this charging station would be set up in the country’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, which will be 60 per cent of the total charging station. Athar Energy is the largest charging station maker in the country.
There are very few charging stations for electric vehicles in the country. Tata company has also announced to build of charging stations in the country. Tata company has installed more than 3 thousand charging points in more than 450 cities in the country, which are public, semi-public and private.
On the other hand, the country’s government undertaking company Central Electricity Authority is making public charging stations. At the same time, many companies have announced setting up charging stations for this. Companies like Tata, Mahindra, and MG Motor will be installed in the country.
