Jammu-Srinagar Highway Closed Due To Stone Fall

The highway remained closed to traffic for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Officials informed on Saturday that the debris removal work is still happening in the area, which has been closed to traffic.
The highway was blocked on Friday due to continuous stone pelting at Panthyal. The traffic police said that removing stones from the road is ongoing.
Advisory Issued For Passengers
Commuters are facing difficulties due to the closure of the National Highway for the second day on Saturday. The Jammu-Srinagar highway is still closed. People are being advised not to travel on NH-44 without confirmation from TCU. People have been told to get tested first, then travel.
