Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and playing Ranji Trophy for Goa, has stunned with his all-round performance. In the Ranji Trophy match played against Rajasthan, Arjun joined the elite list for the first century, while on the other hand, he wreaked havoc in bowling.
Took 3 Wickets
Arjun took 3 wickets for 104 runs in 23.1 overs against Rajasthan. He sent Mahipal Lomror to the pavilion for 63, Salman Khan for 40, and Aniket Chaudhary for 38 runs. Goa bowler Mohit Redkar also performed brilliantly. Took 5 wickets for 113 runs in 47 overs.
However, the match ended in a draw in the second session on the fourth day. Goa had declared the innings after scoring 547 runs. Arjun has made Mumbai Indians go gaga with his performances ahead of the IPL. He has probably become the first player in Ranji Trophy to take three wickets within a century.

Debut Fixed in IPL
After Arjun’s strong performance in Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, next year’s IPL debut is believed to be fixed. Arjun has been included in the retained players by Mumbai this time.
For the last two years, he has been kept in the squad, but till now, he has not been able to make his debut. He might have been under pressure to be a celebrity kid, but now he has been surprised with his performance and is gearing up for his debut.

Sachin Tendulkar’s statement has also come on Arjun’s performance. He spoke to Arjun before the century. Sachin said- I told him to score a century. In response to a question, Sachin also said he should be allowed to love cricket. He should get chances. I have never faced pressure from my parents, so it would not be right to put her under that pressure. I was not under the pressure of high expectations. I want the same from my son.
