RE Himalayan: The Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 launch was initially launched in Gravel Grey, Lake Blue, Rock Red, Sleet Grey, Snow White and Granite Black options. However, in February 2021, the Sleet Gray and Snow White colour options were dropped.
This was probably done due to the low demand for these colour options. Subsequently, the Royal Enfield Himalayan was given Mirage Silver and Pine Green colour options as a replacement.
After this, the colour range of the Himalayan has been updated again, adding three new colour options – Glacier Blue, Sleet Black and Dune Brown. The already released ones will remain available along with these three new colour options.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Engine
Apart from the new colour option, not many other updates have been done in the Himalayan. The bike comes with a 411cc, air-cooled, SOHC engine, which generates 24.3 bhp max power at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm peak torque at 4,000-4,500 rpm.
It gets a constant mesh 5-speed gearbox. The ground clearance of the bike is 220mm. It gets dual-channel switchable ABS as standard. Its curb weight is 199 kg. The bike gets a fuel tank of 15 litres capacity.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Features and Price
This adventure tourer bike gets a 320 mm disc brake (with 2 piston calliper) at the front and 240 mm disc (with single piston) at the rear. It also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster of retro design. The starting price of Royal Enfield Himalayan is Rs 1,86,811 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
