Head coach Stephen Fleming admitted that fast bowler Deepak Chahar’s injury is serious, but he hopes to get positive news from the franchise’s medical team. Fleming did not elaborate on Chahar’s new injury, but he probably suffered a hamstring injury on the second ball on Wednesday night against Punjab Kings.
Fleming said, ‘The injury does not look good, but I hope to get a good report.’ Fleming said, ‘It is difficult to say anything. We have told you about the unpredictable attitude of this wicket. Batting first makes it difficult to assess a good competitive score.’
