Flipkart Launches Its Own UPI Handle, Now Make Payments Without Any Third Party App

E-commerce marketplace Flipkart launched its UPI (Unified Payments Interface) handle on Sunday, March 3. It is known that the company has more than 500 million customers and has taken this step to provide better facilities to its customers.

According to the latest report by news agency IANS, with Flipkart UPI, users can set their own UPI handle for online merchant transactions.

While improving the customer experience, the company has also introduced the facility of Supercoin, Cashback, and Brand Voucher.

Now Make Payment On Flipkart Like This

Payment for products can be made through Flipkart UPI on the Flipkart app. For this, after selecting the product, the option to scan the UPI ID and pay will appear on the payment option.

According to the information given by the company, users can also make recharge and bill payments.

In the first phase, Flipkart has partnered with Axis Bank to allow users to register for UPI with the @fkaxis handle for their digital transactions using the Flipkart app.

Dheeraj Aneja, Senior Vice President of Fintech and Payments Group at Flipkart, said that Flipkart UPI is being launched to meet customers’ expectations. Apart from being convenient for the users, it will also be a means of cost reduction.

Aneja further said that at Flipkart, we offer secure and convenient payment options with a series of Supercoins, brand vouchers and other rewards and benefits. We are improving the commerce experience of customers.

Customers can now register for UPI with the handle @fkaxis and make all fund transfers and checkout payments using the Flipkart app.
