Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) CEO and MD K Krithivasan has said he does not favour employees working from home. He wants the employees to come to the office and work and learn from their seniors. Working from the office strengthens teamwork. He said that the company is taking Artificial Intelligence (AI) seriously. Preparations are being made; efforts will continue to connect new people with TCS.
People Associated In The Last 2 To 3 Years Could Not Come To Office
At a NASSCOM event, TCS CEO Krithivasan said that team building happens through conversations between employees in the office. If employees do not work from the office, they will not be able to understand the company’s values. He said that video conferencing is a good tool. But, it is not better than face-to-face conversation. Those who joined TCS in the last 2 to 3 years have been unable to come to the office until now. This is not good for them. We want employees to go to the office and work.
Changes Coming Due To AI
While discussing the global market situation, he said there is nothing to worry about. Changes are coming due to AI. A lot of work remains to be done on technology. Everyone wants to take advantage of AI. Therefore, TCS has many good prospects. By next year, we will be in a better position than this.
Action Will Be Taken Against Those Who Do Not Come To Office
TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) had ordered its employees to work from the office last week. Company’s COO NG Subramaniam had said in an interview with the Economic Times that if the employees do not come to the office, action will be taken against them. The dangers of cyber attacks can be avoided from the office itself. The country’s largest IT company recently took a 4 lakh square feet office on lease on Noida Expressway. The number of TCS employees is approximately 6 lakh.
