You must be alert immediately if you buy gadgets or other electronic products online. Tata Group’s Croma has warned users to avoid fraudsters who claim to be Croma’s employees, agents or representatives. These fraudsters aim to cheat users through Croma’s fake website. Croma is sending a message titled ‘Fraud Alert and Disclaimer’ to alert users about this fraud in advance.
Don’t Mistake A Fake Website For A Real One
In this fraud alert message, those fake websites using Croma have also been mentioned. The two websites mentioned by Croma in the alert message sent to the users are cromawholesellers.com and cromawholesale.com. Seeing the name Croma, users cannot identify the fake website and mistake it for the real Croma chain. In this message, Croma also informed the users about the valid payment modes and asked them not to give money to anyone claiming to be a Croma employee.
Croma Does Not Call For Offers
The company said Croma never calls users to provide information about deals and gift cards. All offers are available only on the company’s official website, Croma WhatsApp channel, Tata Neu app and more than 450 stores nationwide. The company also conveys information about its offers to the users through these mediums.
File A Report By Calling Or Emailing
Croma also informed the users in its message that any deal on WhatsApp will come only from the green tick verified account of the Croma WhatsApp channel. The company also only gives information about promotions or offers through the official email ID. Croma asked users to immediately call 18005727662 if they came across a fake Croma website or any fraudster. Apart from this, users can also register their complaints by emailing customersupport@croma.com.
