Apple’s iPhone 15 Sales Slow In China As Country Wages Propaganda War

America’s leading tech company, Apple, launched the iPhone 15 a few days ago. This phone is being made in India. People all over the world have accepted it, but China is not liking it at all. The people of China are busy finding shortcomings in this phone. This is why the demand for iPhone 15 in China is much weaker than the previous model. If we compare the first two weeks of launch, the sales of iPhone 15 have been 4.5 per cent less than iPhone 14. China is the biggest market for Apple after America.

Due to supply problems during the Corona period, many companies worldwide are reducing their dependence on China. Apple has also started production in India to reduce its reliance on China. The company plans to increase production five times in India in five years.

China does not like Apple’s increase in production in India because it is afraid of losses. It has started a propaganda war to defame the iPhone 15 smartphone made in India. There is a demand on China’s social media platform, Weibo, to boycott the iPhone 15 made in India.

Some reports have even claimed that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models made in India have been banned from sale in Europe and America. It is claimed that the quality of the iPhone 15 made in India is alarming. Apart from this, there is also the issue of heating, i.e. it gets heated quickly.

China vs India Economy

Recently, there have been various negative news regarding China’s economy, whereas India’s economy is performing well on every front. China’s real estate sector is in deep crisis. It has a 25 per cent share of the country’s GDP.

Due to this, the banks are also on the verge of collapse. Many developers have defaulted in payment. Unemployment is at its peak in the country, foreign investors are withdrawing money, exports are falling, and people are avoiding spending money. Tension with America is at its peak. On the other hand, India’s economy is booming. All international agencies say India’s economy will remain the fastest for several years.
