During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Nia was asked if she ever felt uncomfortable doing intimate scenes on-screen. She said that shooting such scenes is always mechanical for the actors as they have to focus on how they appear during the scene instead of feeling it.
Talking about her experience, the 32-year-old actress said, Most of the time I have kissed someone in a web series, my lipstick gets smeared all over my face. I look like a chimpanzee, like a monkey, after the scene. She added that actors are so conscious of how they appear on screen that they don’t even have time to feel uncomfortable if a kiss comes across as “vulgar or cheap”.
