British PM Rishi Sunak Attended Hindu Religious Event, Not As PM But As A Hindu

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, on Tuesday (August 15), visited prominent spiritual leader Morari Bapu’s Ram Katha on the campus of Cambridge University. During this, he offered floral tributes at Morari Bapu’s Vyas Peeth and raised the slogan ‘Jai Siya Ram’.

He said it is an honour and a pleasure to attend the Ram Katha of Morari Bapu at Cambridge University on Indian Independence Day. The Prime Minister said, “I am here today not as a Prime Minister but as a Hindu.”

Before the Katha, Morari Bapu unfurled the Indian tricolour symbolizing 76 years of Indian independence at the University of Cambridge as part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of freedom in the morning.
