An Indian youth working in Dubai has won a big lottery in the United Arab Emirates. After becoming the first winner of FAST-5, this young man will get at least Rs 5.5 lakh every month for the next 25 years. Mohammed Adil Khan from Uttar Pradesh has won the mega prize of the Fast 5 draw; the company announced the winners’ names at a press conference held on Thursday, reported English-language daily Gulf News.
Adil Khan, an interior design consultant for a real estate company in Dubai, will get 25,000 dirhams (Rs 5,59,822) per month for 25 years after winning the lottery. Adil Khan is very happy about winning the lottery. He said he was grateful for the win and said it had come at a very important time.
What Did Adil Say
Adil says, “I am the only person earning for my family. My brother passed away during the pandemic, and I am the only one supporting his family. I have elderly parents and a five-year-old daughter. So this lottery has come at the right time for me.” he said. Khan said he couldn’t believe it when he got the news of the lottery; it was a dream come true.
He said, “When I told my family, they did not believe it. They said the news should be double-checked for veracity.”
Meanwhile, Paul Chader, Head of Marketing, Tycheros, which organizes the Mega Prize Emirates draw, said, We are delighted to announce our first winner for FAST 5, less than eight weeks after launch. We call it Fast five because it is the fastest way to become a crorepati. He added that we ensure regular payments to such award winners for the next 25 years.
