Wagner Group Captures Rostov; 25,000 Wagner Soldiers Approach Moscow

Yevgeny Prigozhin’s private army Wagner Group is rapidly advancing towards Moscow after the capture of Rostov. Meanwhile, to stop them, the rebels are being bombarded by Moscow.

The helicopter of the Russian army fired on the rebels of Wagner. According to the Reuters report, the route from Rostov to Moscow is 1100 km. Meanwhile, Putin’s office has said that the president is in his office in the Kremlin and is dealing with the rebels.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, chief of the Wagner Group, claimed to have taken control of the southern military headquarters in Rostov without firing a shot. Prigozhin said no one resisted him because the people supported him.

Wagner Chief said our people are being bombed, but we haven’t killed a single soldier yet. Yevgeny Prigozhin said the Russian army bombarded his troops with artillery and helicopters.

At the same time, according to some reports, Wagner’s convoy of 25,000 soldiers reached the south of Moscow. Meanwhile, rebels have been seen moving through the Russian city of Voronezh. The insurgents are advancing along the M4 highway that connects Voronezh and Moscow. Between these two cities is the city of Lipetsk.

The governor of Lipetsk has asked people to stay in their homes. All bus services have been cancelled. Meanwhile, Sergei Naryshkin, head of Russia’s foreign intelligence service (SVR), condemned it as an “attempted armed rebellion” in Russia.

Naryshkin said this rebellion was a crime and could not be justified. Naryshkin, who is also the president of the Russian Historical Society, urged people to support Putin.

Commenting on the Russian developments, Zelensky said, “He who takes the wrong path destroys himself.” He said that it is natural for Russia to be weak. Zelensky wrote on the Telegram channel that the longer Russia keeps its army and mercenaries in Ukraine, the more it will create turmoil and trouble for itself.

On Twitter, Zelensky said that Moscow’s actions in Ukraine had pushed him towards the chaos he is now surrounded by.
