IndiGo Flight: An Indigo Airlines flight from Amritsar to Ahmedabad deviated from the path and went towards Pakistan. The flight went astray near Lahore in Pakistan—the reason for this was bad weather.
The incident dates back to June 10, when an IndiGo flight temporarily entered Pakistan’s airspace due to bad weather. According to information, the IndiGo flight entered Lahore’s North on Saturday (June 10) at around 7:30 pm and returned to India at 8:01 pm.
Flight Takeoff From Amritsar To Ahmedabad
Flight 6e-645 took off from Amritsar at around 20:00 and landed safely in Ahmedabad after straying into Pakistani airspace at around 21:40.
Giving details of the incident, IndiGo officials told news agency ANI, “Due to bad weather, an Indigo flight temporarily entered Pakistan’s airspace yesterday (June 10). The flight was scheduled from Amritsar to Ahmedabad. It landed safely in Ahmedabad.”
Entered Pakistan’s Airspace
Airlines company IndiGo said that Indigo flight 6E-645 from Amritsar to Ahmedabad diverted from Attari to Pakistan airspace due to bad weather.
During this time, Amritsar with Pakistan was well coordinated through ATC through telephone. The crew was in constant touch with Pakistan on R/T, and later the flight safely landed at Ahmedabad.

According to the media report, the Pak Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) official said this is not new because there is such permission at the international level due to bad weather.
