NASA’s First Public Meeting On UFO, Told- More Than 800 Cases Have Been Investigated

RESEARCHERS SAY a NASA panel investigating UAOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) has recorded nearly 800 mysterious incidents. The US space agency last year set up a panel to explain its work on UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena). Incidents that cannot be scientifically identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena are considered UAPs. This panel will issue a report this year. Its first public meeting was held on Wednesday.

A year after NASA began studying unidentified objects (UFOs) in the sky, it held its first public meeting on Wednesday. The space agency televised the hour-long meeting involving an independent committee of experts. The team comprised 16 members and other experts selected by NASA, including retired astronaut Scott Kelly. Kelly is the first American to spend nearly a year in space.

First Attempt To Gather Details Of UFO

Dr Daniel Evans, ‘Assistant Deputy Associate Administrator for Research’ at NASA, said, ‘A predominantly evidence-based approach separates fact from fiction.’ This is the first attempt to get detailed information about these objects (flying saucers) mysteriously seen in the sky.

According to astronomer David Spergel, who runs the Simon Foundation and is the committee chair, the group is looking at what classified information is available on the subject and what more needs to be done to understand what’s happening in the skies. Is required.

50 to 100 New Reports Every Month

Sean Kirkpatrick, director of NASA’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), said, We get 50 to 100 new reports monthly. A separate Pentagon report in 2021 stated that all but one remained unexplained of the 144 incidents observed by military pilots since 2004. Officials have not ruled out whether these objects may belong to other planets. The meeting took place at NASA’s headquarters in Washington, in which people participated through digital means.
